I'm wondering if anyone has any information on these or an armamentos manufacturer.
I bought one in the USA and the canadian firearm center has no information on it. No FRT number. I received Permission to import it but the registry has no infomation .

It is a .22 self loading rim fire made in the majestic Romanian woods by warmhearted Vegetarian monks. :D

Calum, They have seen apic of it in the ak files. They say it looks like an ak,but are letting the rcmp do the final say. Problem is they don't have one to physically touch and examine. But that article may help get beyond the "looks like" part of prohibited.
I wonder if your name was bin laden and looked like arabic you'd automatically become a terrorist?
This akt is still a self loading .22lr, 10 shot clipped long gun.No folding stock, no bayonet lug and only semi.

I forgot to mention I'm keeping mine at the exporter in montana till I get the final say. I wish I could send it to the rcmp to check out,but who knows if I'd see it again. This way I could always have it resold in the USA.

I have an araki friend. He looks like a terrorist. But he came here as a child and he and his family have nothing to do with so much as a pellet gun.No criminal ties. Strange how I can't put an ak stock on my 10/22, but I can buy a cz 858-2 non restricted.? In the summer time we have water and electricity shortages, cut backs on useage but they are building houses like mad and say we need more people to emigrate here?
Canada needs a change, problem is too much damage has already be done.We need the USA to help rebuild hehe just joking
