Alberta 2011 Draw Summary UP!

Not only will all your 2011 questions be answered, but during those coming cold Jan/Feb. nights between this, your draw priorities on My Wild Alberta, the recreational access site and google earth you can plan your 2012 hunt. (Unless you'd prefer to throw darts blindfolded and then bit@h because you didn't get drawn, then ignore this link until next June 15th, in which case, me: you: ) All in good fun, eh?

Seriously, to me draw results are like xmas, this is like new yrs eve. I can now plan our hunt's for next year based on this, taking into account prevous yrs summary's and our priorities. And yes, now that you mention it, I am anal about it.

Well I am up to priority 5 for moose. Seemed like a lot of cow moose tags given out.

In my zone for mule deer buck, resident hunters get 5 tags, outfitters gets 4 tags and the land owners get 12 tags.

In some zones, the outfitters got more pronghorn tags than the Alberta residents.

That is what I am hearing and I would like to be able to look at the stats to see the breakdown for myself. Regardless us Ab. resident hunters really need to make our sentiments heard (outside of the internet forum world) on this.
