Anyone have any decent spots for antelope? Dont need exact coordinates for your secret spot. Just looking for some info in case i draw one this year. I have heard of the Sage Creek PGR. But am still loking for other areas that might be less crowded. Feel free to PM me if you dont want to put anything up on public forum.

The pronghorn populations can change a lot from year to year depending on how they survived the winter, and I've heard that the mortality rate was pretty high. This year might not be the best year to draw a tag if your priority level high.
Ya, they took a hit for sure. Counts won't be done till mid July but I think we'll hang on to our points for a few more years.

The Goats took a beating,but there are still More than a couple around,however not as many big bucks this spring,lots of bucks,but mostly Little guys....

The antelope took a big hit this winter, people around the Foremost area said they found 30 to 40 dead in some spots. They couldn't get enough of their own type of food, and when they're starving, they'll eat most anything, and the food they were eating, like evergreens and such, wouldn't digest.
I've seen lots of young fawns this year, so I'd expect a good recovery in a few years.

Every time I go on the Trans Canada past the Cypress Hills there are Antelope.
x2 there's about 5 times more Fawns this year compared to last...

with numbers down tags issued will go down also....this is good for guys with high priority if you want to look at the other side of the coin.
What if they only issue 10 tags? and the guys with 7+ points get tags and get to hunt without any competition?
thats a pretty big what if though. I was a P6 for non trophy so i put in for that and 999'd my P8 Trophy for another year down the road.
