Alberta barbed wire buck

For us eastern hunters were would his rack rate average, above average, way above average or trophy status. In the east they count the points and if it has eight its a trophy does not mater how big it is. A lot of hunters have never shot or seen a real big buck so there school boys look big to them.Leave the wire as is looks fantastic and perhaps a once in a life time deer!

That is a very nice 4 point. If anyone says they'd let him walk, don't believe them.

Thanks for all the feedback fellas! Ross, don't start crap on my threads or I'm not buying anymore gear off you !LOL! Seriously though, thanks for all the love. In reality, I have around 1200 rounds down range this year and I smoked a coyote at 800m the same morning so my confidence was pretty high to make the shot and conditions were perfect. It turned out to be a great last day of the season and |I'm thankful for every minute of it.

We have a tame whitetail buck, 6 points, and a drop tine, that eats from our hand. This fall he showed up with 25' of rope, 8' of plastic snow fence, a long piece of garden hose, tangled in his antlers. Of course this was all at different times.Henry is a piece of work!

Nice!! I sure like the looks of the Mulies and that one is a beauty. That is quite the pile of wire?!must have gotten tired of jumping the fence and decided to open a path through it instead!! LOL
So what kind of ballistics/trajectory do you get from a 260 AI, have to admit I have never really studied the Ackley stuff much at all?

Nice deer! It's unfortunate what they'll get tangled up in; I think it's when they're trying to rub off velvet.
