allowing 22 centerfires for big game, correct?
Yessir. Those are probably the highlights. But lots of other positive changes. They clarified the language around edible portions salvage requirements, stiffened AB residency status a little, and added the option to salvage either the meat or the hide from black bear and cougar.Wondered how long it was going to take before this popped up here.
Coles notes version, if I have that correct and not being an Albertan, is allowing dogs for blood trailing, lowering the age that kids can hunt on their own, and allowing 22 centerfires for big game, correct?
Yep.Oh the CGN outrage to come!
Hopefully guys will consider the fact that this has been the standard in many other provinces and states for a long time, and not been a problem. Not sure why it should be a negative here.Yep.
Always interesting to watch these play out.
Lots of Albertan's losing their minds over It, it's a danged non issue and it's not even law yet ! LOL. All one has to do is look at the Provinces ,States , and Countries that allow it- with an open mind , of course .Hopefully guys will consider the fact that this has been the standard in many other provinces and states for a long time, and not been a problem. Not sure why it should be a negative here.
I always laugh when people tell me .223 isn't enough for deer. Yet it's somehow enough to zip through my body armour and body and kill a person.Looks like .223 is a deer hunting calibre again…
That might mean positive things for Alberta semi-auto .223 owners someday.
