Alberta cancels time changes.

I'll be interested to find out how people feel when winter daylight shows up around 09:30 in the morning. From what I can see, areas that tried staying on permanent DST have always switched back in the past.
Well up here we have been time fixe
Since Covid on day light saving and up here
in the darkest of the winter the sun is up around 11:00 so really dark for a long time but I think the change is positive cause before you would start work in the dark and finish work in the dark now you start work in the dark and finish work and there is still some daylight so you can do stuff after work that in the past would have been in the dark.
I’m self employed and I find it harder to get started in the morning cause it is dark longer.
Right now it is still daylight after 9pm!!
I think it only make sense, that said it didn’t bother me one bit when we were still changing time.

Sorry, but you're wrong. When you're retired, every day is like the Sunday of a Long Weekend:
You didn't work yesterday, you don't work today & you don't have to work tomorrow.
Been practicing this for 20 years now & it's Fan-F'en-tastic! :)

I concur. I’ve only been doing it for 3 months now but have ZERO regrets about retiring.

Apparently Alberta doesn't need the opinions of their own citizens either - y'all literally had a referendum on this topic 5 years ago and the majority said no.

The majority of voters across this whole country are well, dumb. The last federal election proved that. Finally some common sense prevails. Hopefully more to come.

Elbows up! 🤣😂🤣
