Good looking deer... nice shooting too. I've shot one WT head on, and it also made a mess of the forward meat.

FWIW, I don't think 180gr is too much in a 30 cal. You certainly don't NEED that heavy a bullet, but so what? It works great.

not sure if the bullet went thru the guts or some bone shrapnel did the damage. kinda looks like the bullet may have come out the left side just at the last rib(there is a hole there not sure if it was from a bullet or bone) will know more when we cut him up.
