Alberta Hunters: Strathcona Deer?

Could someone please clarify the 'Strathcona Deer' licence?

Is it good in all of 248, or just Strathcona County? Is there a firearms discharge ban in the area?

Strathcona portion of 248. There is a map available of the county that shows areas where discharge of a firarm is not allowed. Sherwood Park Archery usually has them. interestingly you are not allowed to hunt on county land. Strathcona county is a Great area to hunt. Toughest part is getting permission.

Over the last 17 years I've rattled in hundreds of deer in the county.

Re your other post. 870 rifled bbl with a low power scope and sabots and you can't go wrong.

Getting permission can be a real challenge. If you know people with more than 40 acres it can be a blast. There's lots of whitetailed deer in Strathcona county.
