It was bound to happen. My buddy and I went out for the last day hunt around Sylvan, Eckville and Markerville. Started out bad as we pulled in to our favorite 90 acre parcel that the owner has posted signs reading "No access with out permision" right at sun up only to find fresh truck tracks in and out and an unfrozen gut pile at the edge of the one bush line. It was definitely fresh, but seeing how they were in, shot, dressed and out before we got in there they would have had been shooting in the dark. I called the land owner to see if he happened to be in there and he said we were the only ones aside from his family that had permission and they all filled there tags earlier and at camp.
Another friend of mine told me he was heading into take a look around his own quarter when a pick up with four guys came around the trail in, almost hit his truck then kept driving. No idea who it was and they just took off like a bat out of Hell.
These are all good folks who would not likely turn anyone down for access if they ask, but get a bit annoyed when they just don't care.
We seen so many we called it early and were home before the white out. Lots of idiots, but undoubtedly lots of decent guys as well.
