Got my package in the mail today, renewed my WIN card and entered 8 draws on -line. What a great improvement. To those doing turkey, put them in now not later as before. Good luck to all applicants.:D

Man, is this new system suuuuuhwwwweeeeeeeeeet!

All my draws are finished. 14 draws for 4 people finished in about 10 minutes :)

When all was finished, went back and bought myself a new fishing license :dancingbanana:

That new system is nice to use. We put in for antlered and antlerless mulie, antlerless whitetail, antlered moose, trophy and non-trophy antelope, late season WMU 300 bull elk, goat, and turkey. I don't think we have a high enough priority for anything other than the antlerless deer. One can always hope for mountain goat though! If nothing else it gets me thinking about the upcoming hunting season again. Might have to take some elk steaks out of the freezer...

Scott the mountain goat idea sounds interesting. That's in the Wilmore right?

Hey, me too;-)

They'll see more business this year just because it's easier to use, I guarantee it. Just like iTunes, Amazon one-click, they're making it easy to spend money.

I put in for the Bison draw OF COURSE. Yay Alberta! :sniper:

Demonical, yes, there are areas in the Wilmore where goats can be hunted, but we applied for Area O, which is south / west of the South Castle River in the far south of Alberta. The zone actually borders the north boundry of Waterton National Park. Unfortunately I have never had the opportunity to spend any time in the Wilmore area, but I have spent a fair amount of time in the Castle River area. We have seen quite a few goats down there over the years. Along with the Wilmore and South Castle regions, there are two other goat areas near Lynx Creek and the Carbondale River in the Beaver Mines area.

I tried to do it on line but it was down, so I did it on the phone, cost a few bucks but still really painless. Could see all my draw priorities on line as well as the years I have been drawn in the past, NICE. To bad the book they sent out this year was not personalized with my draw priority info on the inside of the cover like years past.... I guess I can see it anytime on line though.

Is it just me or does Alberta have the BEST system for drawing tags as compared to well....anywhere?
