Alberta Hunting season 2020

Odd year for us since 3 out of 4 people in my hunting group got drawn for Elk this year, that's 6 Elk to get this year. Every year you get drawn for Elk you get 2 tags here.

Got my mulie I'm 254 and my suffield elk so should be an interesting fall

I just noticed that I have 2 tag #s I can enter when I Purchase my draw license in WMU 234.

Is this normal for Alberta to hand out 2 tags for a draw ?

Somehow got drawn for a Moose in 200.
I don't recall putting in for this as it's not an area I've hunted before or am even familiar with.
I guess I've got some homework (and legwork) to do.
Does anyone have any tips for this WMU?

Depends on the WMU and how many people put in for the draw I believe. When we get drawn for Elk down here we have always got 2 tags. 2 of our mule deer tested positive for CWD last years from the 150. I have my eye on a huge buck that I'm hoping I get this year

The 2 mules my buddy got out of 234 also tested positive last year as well.
