Yep it's a great time even with all the trash talk. Just a bunch of guys shooting and bs'n all day with a little friedly compitition to see who can knock down the most steel.
Don't let the antics here discourage anyone from comming out to have a look see. There's some pretty damn good shooters there and most are always willing to share a wealth of knowledge. Except 1/2 MOA, he's a ####!
Sorry Chad, couldn't resist.
Dave I was wondering if you could help me out with some thing. I have been racking my brain trying to remember who got second place last year and I just cant seem to remember who it was.Oh well I guess the old saying is true no one remembers who got second place.

Man am I pumped for this years event. I left myself lot's of room on the scoresheet last year for improvement. I have to say, the thing I'm most excited for is competing and observing others shooting out to 880 yards. Went out with a couple of buddies and my partner and rang the 12" gong out there 7 out of 9 attempts with my new reloads that averaged 1/2 MOA on paper out at 440 yards. Nice to see them tightening up with every small change.
Word of advice though, if you head to Genesee in the next while be sure your vehicle is up to the challenge of getting up the icy hill from the valley. I pulled out one truck at the bottom of the hill and watched several spin out and one van even slide backwards, do a 180 by bouncing off the grader furrow and come back down. Be careful down there guys. Happy shooting.
