I always thought that the Milk River drainage was primarily whitetail country!

I always thought that the Milk River drainage was primarily whitetail country!

There is some good white-tail habitat down in the valley along the river and tribs. But when talking about "Milk river ridge" one is usually talking about the "upland prairie" away from the river. That is where the mule deer outnumber the white-tails.
