Alberta Poker Rally Shoot 2015" updated with camping info

What time are we going to start Saturday morning? Unsure if we'll be coming out late Friday night or just make an early am departure Saturday morning.

On the up side, quad is gassed up, trailer packed tonight and 100 rounds loaded, ready to go. Won't need a powered site, someone else can have at it. Counting the days now.

The option was there last year to buy extra hands but no one took advantage of it , so I decided to drop it this year . If there is enough people that wanted it I would add it back into the rules and have it ready to go at the shoot .

Any word on multiple hands?
 
Ok everyone so just to update the thread everything is just about wrapped up for the shoot . Just to let everyone know the campsites are first come first served , I want everyone to come find Shane or myself on Friday night as we will have a small orientation package as for the lay out for the shoot and a set of safety rules. Also so I can meet everyone and so you will be aware of who we are . Any questions please email me or PM me here .

What's the better road to take to get to the Brazeau Reservoir Campground from Calgary?
Keep in mind we'll be pulling a 30ft RV.
Are the roads better to go west at Red Deer and through Rocky Mountain house?
Or north through Red Deer and over through Drayton Valley?
 
The road from Hwy 11 to the dam is paved now, so it's easy sailing. Keep an eye out for wild horses ;)

I just traveled through on my way home from work as a matter of fact. I wish I would have read this before hand, I would have popped in!
 
Just wanted to give a shout out to Steve and Shane, and all of the volunteers, that put this shoot on. The group of us that came out from Drayton Valley had a blast this weekend.

You can count me in as a regular!

Also, thanks to Darrel May for donating the prize I snuck away with. It's going to make an awesome addition to my office at work.

Big thumbs us to Steve, Shane and the crew who put on this great shoot. I/we (Bob and I) will be back next year! Special shout out for Bear and his outstanding dope call for a 252 yard shot the little girl he was coaching did with a pink camo .22 bolt gun. Outstanding!
