Alberta restricted transfer

I tried calling all day, all but one time I got a message saying to call back later, the one time I got put on hold, it disconnected after 19mins. Glad some of you had better luck than me.
 
Called in this morning to get a transfer approved from a July 9th purchase. They approved it and sent a email notification. I’m done now, no more waiting on the phone unless another good deal pops up.

I bought 2 Handguns on June 2.... received the transfer on one a week later and the other I received this morning..... 6 weeks exactly

My private sales from the EE took about 3 weeks for green papers. That took lots of calls and checking up. Papers came this week.
I'm waiting on new sales to be approved now.

If I found stock I would order a handgun now and get everything delivered before it becomes crunch time.
 
Has anybody got any info on licence renewals? They have had mine since Mar 16th. My licence expired end of June. I've called the CFC 3 times and each time I've been told it's at the AB CFO and no additional info is required. Starting to get frustrated.
 
Purchased 4 from Prophet River (not there fault)
On May 30th
Called CFO.. they said they see the order but just wait like the rest of everybody..

As of today... Nothing
 
I bought a Shadow from Cabela's on June 7, just got the shipping notification from Canada Post yesterday, so roughly 5 weeks for me. I did not receive my buyer's transfer confirmation from the RCMP / CFO even though my email address with them is current.
 
Purchase from Ontario dealer 06-June, transfer initiated 07-June, Approved 15-July (email early this morning). I tried calling but just kept getting disconnected.
 
Finally got through after calling all morning repeatedly and getting disconnected. Finally reached an agent and 2 of my transfers are ready. Phone time was about 25 min on hold after getting through.
Dated received was June 28th and July 14th. Another purchase dated July 14th is not completed.

Thank you so much, very usefull information, I was waiting for almost a month, then called with this extension, got through after 40 minute hold but got two of the three transfers approved and registeration emailed to seller and me while I was on the phone.
 
this sounds like it only works for private transfer? anyone have any luck with speeding up approval process when bought through vendor?
 
Two of my 3 purchases were from dealers, I called for the private deal, didn't know what was going on wiith the dealer transfers, she told me I have 3 transfers in progress and would I like her to check the other two, I told her that will be much appreciated and she approved two on the spot.
