Alberta restricted transfer

Bikezngunz - are you pressing 1 for English, then 1 for 'if you know the extension', then the extension 9026?

When I was first trying, I would enter the 9026 extension as soon as the recording started and it would do the same as you say.

Thanks for the tips everyone! I called this morning and with this call method, finally got through and got my June purchase transfer for my new Sig P226 Legion SAO. It’s better than Xmas morning!

Had two transfers pending with AB CFO from early and mid June. Got through today after about 30 mins on hold and both transfers were completed and I got the approval e-mails while still on the line.

I have a transfer pending since June 29th, and seeing how people are saying their early June transfers are just getting processed I shouldn't keep my hopes up for an email any time soon. I will try calling anyways just to find out.

Everyone in ab should be calling, all of my purchases/private sales were approved this way.

Do you need the transfer reference number to call in? Dealer i got one of my firearms refuses to give me any number :(

I was asked for transfer number or pal number. I had the transfer numbers but never gave them to the lady I spoke with, she did it with the Pal number.

After 37 attempts and being dropped three times I was able to get through with the magic 9026 number. From there they quickly
approved my transfer and I had it in my email before the call was over. Just wondering how long it takes from there for the individual I’m buying the restricted firearm off of to receive his approval to ship? He had still not received anything a couple hours later. He is located in Quebec.

Maybe because it’s Quebec but my AB-AB transfer went through immediately. The buyer got the email within minutes of me getting mine.

Anyone with recent completions, what number? Trying to gauge how fast they're approving.

I had a transfer initiated from an auction on Friday (Aug 4) and got the reference number. Called in today (Tues, Aug 9) and it was approved over the phone and notice was emailed. This horseshoe up the rear end is uncomfortable, but worth it.

I didn't get a single one approved until I finally got through on 9026 extension.
The first time the woman told me they only do one at a time so got the first one done then.
When I finally got through again that lady did the remaining in one go. The approval emails went through pretty much before the phone call was finished.

It doesn't seem to be sequential, I've seen some comments with people getting theirs approved within 9 days, others 9 weeks. No real rhyme or reason

Ugh, if that's true, this really frustrates me. Sequential just make sense. Maybe Im missing something here lol.

Alberta here too.

Purchased June 22 from Phoenix Indoor Range
Called in and was approved August 5th.
However, she wasn’t able to approve my more recent purchases from three weeks ago.

Called in today and a very nice lady who approved all three of mine, I had the emails before the call was over. ( 25 mins on hold another ~10 speaking with her) One from June 15th 593###, one the 29th 595### and the third 596### from July 7th. Two of the sellers received their emails but not the third.
