well not to long ago there was a lot of fluff flying about how and why they were going to change some thing . What do you guys think about the change ?

Me, i think its better that they shortened the front part of the season rather then the last week.

Rams are easier to kill, the last week, starting to think of ###. Seems like a cop out, but I suspect that's their reasoning. I hate and can't stand heat, so the first couple of weeks are a write off for me anyways.

Might not make any difference knocking a week off either way. Have spoken with a couple of CO's whose observations are; 50% of rams are taken first day, another 25% during the rest of opening week and it takes all season for the final 25% to be taken. All it might do is have a shortend period in the middle when hunters aren't either trying to tag before the rams get too disturbed or desperate to get out and fill their tag at the last minute.
