land tactical in drayton valley,only once a year i think,awesome time ,about 40 shooters so fills up fast ,multiple shooting events ,high competition with a in depth scoring system . 100 -430 yards was this years but the guys are always changing things up a little, was a lot of fun .all i know.
good place to camp and socialize before and after and talk shop
is more like sniper tactical ......not move and shoot with carbines or pistols then change to shottys, precison rifles with a little pistol work

There is a few pics from years past, unfortunately the oil patch has us all so busy that we have not got this years pics up but we are working on it. As one of the hosting members I'd be happy to answer more questions about our late August shoot. Usually plan on 40 rifle rounds and 10 pistol.
Events range from 100 yard precision groups to 75 yard off hand engagement of multiple targets, we also do static pistol shots and longer shots with elevated heart-rates with various positions and shooting aids.
We sell out in one day usually each year, include lunch and have a cash prize aspirin or similar type finish. Thanks to great sponsorship from many fine CGN and other gun related shops usually everyone walks away with a prize as well as top 3 recognition.
