Alberta Tactical Handgun League Match #11 - 24 August 2008 (photos added)

The Alberta Tactical Handgun League will be holding its next match at the MVMA range west of Olds on Sunday, August 24th.

The match will consist of 8 stages and 110 rounds.

Registration will be from 0815 to 0915. A shooters meeting will be held at at approx 0915 and shooting will start NLT 0930.

The long term weather forecast looks great but this being southern Alberta there is also potential for change.

The next ATHL match is scheduled for Sunday, September 28th at the MVMA range west of Olds, AB.

The co-Match Directors will be Jay B. and John V.

Jay and John have decided that the match will have a 'Theme'.

Here's a preview:

-Welcome to your first day on the job at Rainwater Security Consultants, where our motto is: “We bring stability to an unstable world terrorized by unstable people.”

-We have a variety of tasks here: VIP security, convoy escorts, street patrols, and manning the gate at our secure and comfortable compound.

-Your health is important to us, and our fine local clinicians are on staff for several hours almost every day. They will also cook your meals.

-Sometimes, bad things happen. The threat level is through the roof today, so expect the unexpected.

-Our Rules of Engagement are quite robust, I’m proud to say. If they have a weapon, and aren’t one of us…they’re one of Them. That makes them a fair target.

-Collateral damage is bad for profits…so watch your targets.
