Alert: Improperly pinned mags

I have a question on this matter.

The 5/20 mags that MarStar sells for the M305 are all pinned with a removeable mag bottom. I had a guy at a gun show tell me he was raked over the coals roadside by a queen's cowboy for pop riveted mags to 5.
The cop said give me the mags or you go to the cement hotel.

What is the exact CFC guideline for properly fixing mags to 5? Is a rivet enough or does it need to be welded. This grey area makes me nervious.

A VERY WISE DECISION TO RETURN THE MAGS! The media will lynch you, you will lose all your guns and you will spend many years in jail.

I have seen mags that will take a 6th round, but then cannot be insirted into a firearm due to bolt clearince. So is it really a 6 round mag?

As a matter of fact our dear old Enfeild No.4, 10 round mags will fit an 11th round EASILY, but your not getting it in a rifle like that. And although it's for a bolt action, it is listed spicifically as an exception due to some wacky semi-auto prototype no one ever heard of. However, it is also only premitted to hold 10 rounds maximum, yet as I've said they all hold 11.

Discuss....

:D now this is a differnent topic all together :D and if you really wnat to confuse it up a bit how about the WW1 20 and 25rd trench mags for the enfields, produced before the semiauto enfields. :D

well back to the regular schedualed thread

If you find a mag that is somehow defective, 2 choices, fix it yourself, or send it back to the vendor.
