I believe the P225 is just a shorter slide/frame version of the P220 and therefore shares the same single stack configuration.
The P226 came later when it competed against the Beretta 92F to become the new US service pistol.

Seeing how aluminum frames don't last as long as steel or plastic, I would be very weary of buying a "well used" one.I've read on Sigforum that some of those are WELL used!![]()
