Alfa Proj revolver carbines?

My first thought is Why??
Don't get me wrong, I have range toys. Many of them fall into the "just 'cause" category. For some reason, the revolver carbine seems like an idea that was never fully thought out enough.
In the heavier caliber -357- that you were going to long range plink with....maybe.
Sucky part about it all is you'll want/need to shoot in a long sleeve shirt or wear something on your forearm to stop it from being blasted raw.
I like my AP (9mm) but this thing looks more funky than fun.

Good point....I hadn't thought of that. I remember reading that the Rossi revolving long guns have some sort of guard. Wonder if the Alfa's do? I would expect that they'd almost have too....otherwise a lot of people would only fire them once.
Looks interesting but I don't think I'd bite. Take off the forend to save some weight and put your support hand under the butt, is how you'd hold it.
It'd be nice if a carbine conversion were available for the super Blackhawk. Then I'd spend more money on my 10 incher rather than getting it ready for sale!
