Alfa Proj stuck cases, but only Winchester?

Hello all,

Got the little 8 shot Alfa 22 mag revolver last year and I'm very happy with it. Great accuracy from a shorter barrel. It eats all the five ammo options I've tried BUT the Winchester VMax 30 gr polymer cases will not eject unless I tap the ejector rod on the table which obviously I don't want to do. All other brands/loads slip out easily. I've miked the case length across brands, no variation. No swelling. Any idea what the heck might be going on? I generally don't use Winchester ammo but got a deal on a bunch of this. Works perfectly in the Ruger single six and American rifle.

All of the several 9mm versions I owned would stick with Barnaul, and I always assumed it was the coating on the casings.

Sounds like the chambers might need a polishing. You'd be surprised how a little rough holds a case.

Good thought on the polishing alright. Hadn't thought of that given the other brands don't stick. It occurred to me that maybe just a few cylinders were sticky making extraction impossible. Will give it a shot!
