Alfa Project moon clips

For those of you that have had trouble with the moon clips not fitting, I noticed the new batches that are out have a much larger ID, so I just enlarged the older clip and now it works fine.

Seems simple enough. What did you do just buzz it a bit with a dremel grinding wheel?
What's the size difference between the new ones and the old? Who has the new batches?
So many questions......

As of 2 weeks ago Rusty was the only person who had them in stock, everybody else had no set ETA.
Used a Dremel.
I did not measure, but if you overlapped them, you could really see the difference all the way around. If you just threw them all on the table, you could easily pick the new ones out. I only ground away enough material to make the old one work.

Old moon clips have an ID of about 0.396. (Chev.)
New moon clips have an ID of about 0.440. (Dodge)

Ask for the Dodge ones.

Would it be cost effective to get a tool and die maker to manufacture some of these moon clips?
Would it be legal to manufacture these and sell them for use in the alfa proj revolvers?

It would be nice if somebody could source some after market ones. It might get the price down and I just found out Rusty Wood is out of stock and have no ETA on when they might get more
