Have you ever seen the movie? I got today my electronic crow call. Okay, I went on my deck an pressed the 'crow distress' button. Holy crap, a huge flock (30 birds) attacked my dogs and me :lol:

Have to carry this nice toy into the woods this weekend!!

...and tons of shells.... :wink:

Really? Cool! What make/brand, and cost? Is it just a cassette you put in a ghetto blaster?

I used to use a cassette deck to play a crow in distress tape out my apartment window... It attracted HUNDREDS of crows many times! My superintendant was LESS than impressed once she figured out it was me causing the Hitchcock swarms...

Got my first crow call about the same time I saw that movie. Really brings the story home doesn't it?
I sat half hidden in the bushes at the base of a tree in a farmers field, and called. (I tried to sound like an injured crow) I think there must have been twenty of them came to investigate, some of them lit in the tree. I winged one, and it started to squawk on the ground. They really went nuts then, and I had friggin birds everywhere. I think I shot five or six before they figured out what was going on, gave the alarm call, and buggered off (I think that's five sharp 'caws' if I remember right).
