alien pistol

Shot around 10K of rounds so far, very happy with it... Have not cleaned it for 2k rounds of my reloads once to see how it will go, not a single malfunction.

Don't have any spare parts here in Canada as far as I'm aware, so I'm looking forward to grab a pack of spare parts when they become available...

I also have one and like it a lot. I used to shoot P320 so I had to adjust my support hand grip a bit. I had some malfunctions due to the height of my grip; it was preventing a successful cycle. But that's a training issue. In my last IPSC matches I didn't experience any issues. You can shoot it Production in IPSC and some call it 'cheating' :D

I have shot 4 different ones running Chronograph @ 2 different lvl three matches and must admit they are growing on me, not sure if they are worth the price I paid for my open gun though...

Shot a few thousand rounds through a few different ones, including an afternoon in Serbia at the Euro's. The hype is bs, it doesn't recoil any better or worse than any other pistol if you grip them right. It gets hot, too hot to hold onto very quickly during extended shooting sessions, it stops working quickly as it gets mildly dirty. The trigger is no better than any other tuned pistol. So, sure, if you like how it looks go for it, but it's not magic.

It’s a very unique design, but very expensive to manufacture & buy. The underlying principle of the action is that the barrel is factory pinned to the frame, like some straight blowback autos. Should you need to replace the barrel, you cannot unpin it, take it off & replace it with a new barrel. Only the maker can do that & warranty that. Try & obtain a barrel, it’s almost impossible.
Want a better barrel than the OEM one? You’re out of luck.

Interesting, I don’t get any heat after 500 rounds in an hour… I do not clean it until it reaches min. 2000 round, and still never had any malfunctions so far… I agree it is not magic but watching expensive open guns constantly jamming today at Taber IPSC match in the hands of top level shooters against my Alien with my reloads having 0 issues, I can’t agree with you…
