A great, fun filled season for me this year thanks to an antelope tag and a good friend for white tail.
Took my antelope with the bow back in September (my first bow kill) and on the weekend took this white tail with my new 300wsm. All I had was the cell phone as I forgot my camera.
So I snapped a quick pick where we found him before the real work began.
No special story here. He came out chasing a doe and I broke up the first date. A cold weekend (-32 at times with the windchill) but if you could get out of the wind it really wasn't that bad. The sun was shining and it was fairly nice sitting on the side of the hill looking for deer, with a good friend.
For now, I'm done but I have one of those special elk tags for Cypress that I will try to fill in February, if I can get the time off work.
