Now that's just greedy, butcher a limited production quality rifle just because you have two. You need to learn to share, your parents didn't do a very good job in your upbringing.:p:D

Nice little rifle, but really you could have started with an SPS or old BDL or something other than a 700 Classic. Do you have the original stock, PM me if you do.
 
I have one of those 700 Classics in 300 Savage.
It is in all original trim.
But it has turned out to be one of the most accurate factory rifles I have seen.
150 partition chased by 45 grains of RL 15 gets me 2800+ and usually right
around ½ moa for three shots at 100M
I would not butcher it, but to each his own.
Should be a very "handy" rifle for specific areas.

Turns out 130gr bullets do kill moose! Frontal shot from 125y, entered through right shoulder/upper leg bone, destroyed lungs, exit back left ribs.
