So I’m done, my collection is done my safe is full(it is a small safe hahaha)! Ruger M77 MKII 30-06, Ruger no1 RSI 30-06, Ruger no1S 9.3x62, Ruger no1 RSI 7x57(just got it yesterday), browning bar Belgium
30-06, a Brno zh304/301, an old German Mauser small ring in 8x57 that my dad bought when he was 16 years old and now 80 in 8x57, and old mosberg 500 in 12 gauge cut down, an 20 gauge single shot brezilian Rossi (I think) a coey 22 single shot and a coey repeater rabbit stock(don’t remember by heart the models, 79 and 60 perhaps) and a savage 24 E in 22mag/20 gauge! And a husky thy started as a 649 thy was modified commercially into a full stock carbine in 9.3x62!
No magnum(other than the 22 mag) all great for up her in the Yukon!
All blued with walnut(wood) stock, all users !!
Ho I forgot an old 1896-98 Winchester 94 38-55 that use to belong to my father, with it I got my first 2 porcupine here caribou up here 20+ years ago!!

I've been "done" several times......
Now it's not a matter of need, it's a matter of want.
All I really needed was a .22, a 12 guage, a 30-30 and a 30-06, but where's the fun in that? Y.O.L.O.

I am almost done, I am looking around for a 7x57 I can't decide on the platform, I have never owned one, I have slowed down, but I expect to always be "almost done".

Never been a fan of military semi! As for handguns I use to out east but since you can’t carry I find it useless! I should have never sold my Ruger super black hawk 44mag!

Just when I think I have all I need I find something else I need lol. Hunting/shooting interests change and gear needs change with it. Really living in Northern Alberta all i "need" is a 22lr, 30-06, and 12 g... unless i want to hunt coyotes for fur....or take up long range....or hunt farm land moose....or tight bush elk calling.....I hunt and target shoot so theres always a new platform or type I want to try out...latley im Jonesing for a long range 45-70 ( type) open sight rifle to learn how to sling huge chunks of lead way out there using open sights...already shoot scoped And iron LR but with faster high bc projectiles.

The key is to stay off forums and away from other gun nuts. I went 7-8 years without adding anything to the safe. Then got more serious about hunting again, starting reading again, and now I really really want to add something like a 35whelen or 9.3x62 to the safe.
