I know more then a few of the Boys in CSOR. I was close friends with DIGI. I do not believe you know them as much as you let on you do.

It's all fact if everyone had the same kit Pro shooters will win. Pro swimmers will win runners etc etc But the job is more then just shooting swimming and running . So take your butthurt and put it away.

Now get back on track about Eotechs failing and be done with it

Didnt know it was a competition to who knows more CSOR people. Nor does it really matter, I'm 18 hours away. IF a sport shooter comes in saying he better then CSOR or military hes pretty high up on his horse IHMO. Put that person in our gear w/o any work up and see what he does. Watch the excuses. When he doesn't have his huge comp, his ported red dot pistol and his speed loader and all his gucci sport gear.

Omg you're so right... All of those really brave 3 gunners deserve the VC for single handedly closing with and destroying all of those paper and steel targets on a one way range. Wanker.. I can't believe you're a mod. Pink me. Go ahead.

The SOUM is not taking the eotech from -40 and then directly to +. It is a zero shift that occurs at those temperatures.

Then that officer will probably stand around with his rifle for a while and then put it back without discharging it, or shots will be made at 25-50 yards at the torso of a man with a zero shift of less than two inches at that range. That officer won't notice the POI shift at all.

Any law enforcement officers on want to chime in with how many times they've discharged their carbine in the line of duty? I'm guessing it's very few. This isn't some glorified media report or some stupid US reality tv show or movie. An officer with a carbine and EOTech won't be making a 75 yard shot around a hostage to hit the bad guy in the brainstem.

Stay in your lane. Your missing the point of what started this. The pro shooter will out shoot any soldier. ( maybe not Horner lol )

The same way Ken block will out drive any of us. It's a non point.

The job they do is way more then shooting.

The butthurt in this thread is pathetic. And for no good reason.

Why would it be fair to put him in issued kit and gear without training with it first? Did they just hand you the kit and send you packing?And are you still in?
 
This thread is not about eotech long time ago, and has become a painful contest of #### measurement. It is ending here.
