All-New: Type 81M

If someone in the Calgary or Edmonton area wants to do a trade, I wouldn't mind one of the new fixed or underfolders. I have a blond fixed and blond side folder I might be willing to part with. I just can't justify the cost of buying one of these new ones!

Edit: A few offers have been made and are being considered, no new offers to be considered.

You can easily put a butt pad on the underfolder if you are concerned about recoil. I still have one in the bin, used it for my Mini 14 underfolder but not really needed it, the recoil for the 7.62x39 cartridge is meh. Of course you should not do it with only a sleeveless shirt.

If anyone is worried about recoil, we also have a fine selection of compensators and muzzle brakes, including the new 74 style muzzle brake as shown in pictures :)

Quick question. I just ordered t81M. Happened noticed that akmastermount back in stock. Can I order that one as well and ship it with my T81 together? Need guideline here:) tried to call you guys but no one pick the phone:(

That wouldnt work well, there is movement on that cover..

I am leaning towards No optic for this one.. i'll refinish the wood, maybe make a matching cheek raiser..
 
So can you mount the AK mastermount when the stock is extended? Or is there different pins on the fixed stock version? You can just unmount when you need to fold it lol. The rail comes on and off so easily.
 
I was looking at the pics of the new wood handguard, it looks like the newly added fingergroove on the sides extends from lower to upper handguard, making it much larger dimple than you would see on sks or svt .. i dont know if i will like that..

TI , will the regular t81 wood handguard fit ok? And if so, do you have any spare handguards in stock ?

Yep, confirmed with them earlier. Not sure if the mounting plate would come into contact with the folder so they can chime in on that but assuming you don’t fold the stock, the mount will work just fine
