All-New: Type 81M

No one's bitter, and read the room. Every other post is about a outta spec 81, or the fit and finish not even being to chicom specs lol.

Your the one jumping on the grenade for TI bud lmfaooo

Every other post is the same kids complaining.. for thousands of rifles sold, it's only a handful of names complaining over and over, I don't expect it to stop

The fact that you admittedly would go back to dine at a restaurant that gave you food poisoning the first time, hoping they changed, makes you a special person. And anyone who argues with you from this point forward will know how very special you are

Enjoy your complaining. My rifle is good

Just unboxed my underfolder. Overall I am pleased. No bent barrel or anything (I looked down the barrel from the muzzle and could clearly see the hole on the rear of the receiver, so I'm satisfied). The folding stock wobbles slightly up and down when fully extended, which was to be expected, but feels tight and doesn't move when shouldered (I think someone posted that you can tighten it up anyways). Both magazines also fit well. The only issue of note was a small scrape to the finish on the receiver under the front trunnion. Not really a bother to me as such marks will eventually appear with use.
Anyways, enjoy your rifles everyone!

This guy with his thousands of rifles. lol
There are some on here that have a very bad memory or do not understand ratios.
I will say it again for those of you that keep using this thousands of rifles bulls.

Not every person who bought a rifle is on here, not every person who bought a rifle has reported their issue on here.

There are very few people on here not thousands and there have been a lot of reports of issues. There might be on here probably less then 150 people not thousands.
There are 2742 posts as of now. Simple math lets say each person on here has made an average of 25 comments. Some more then others lol

2742/25=109 there could be about 100 people on here reporting issues there were probably about 25 or so, you can go back and check all of them that's a lot of rifles lets say 25%

if 25% of THOUSANDS of rifles are bent out of 1000 around 250 are bent that's a lot of rifles, that's a lot of people ripped of.

As well some don't care to report, some don't see the bend and are ok with it maybe more then 50% are crooked.

Absolutely unacceptable for TI

Received fixed stock today barrel is slightly bent and gas block is crooked or not indexed properly , emailed ti for a replacement will update

I mean it's usually a little more flush but none of them are perfect form fitted

I received mine and overall, I am pleased. Barrel is straight. However the duscover fitment seems really poor towards the rear sight. Dont think it will impact functioning, but is this normal?

Mine was similar, i thought that i could bend it into shape, but it was not that, its how its trimmed and stamped.. if you compare to the SR that was built at factory 365, it is of lower quality stamping

From the front, you need to remove the dust cover and bolt assembly

I see. So a bent barrel means a barrel and whole receiver is not lined up? I thought just the barrel its self.
But you aim it from the rear sight to the front sight and a bullet travels from the front the receiver (where a ammo is feeded in) to the muzzle.

so I thought this travel distance must be lined up.

this guy complete looser.
if you have to edit quotes and put lies in there you must be very desperate lol
shows your level of intelligence

Ouch tall order.

Are you unaware that you’re in a thread of people who’ve ordered rifles, complaining about the QC of a product you don’t own, in all likelihood haven’t ordered, and bashing a company I’m convinced you’ve never interacted with?

I mean you’re complaining more than people who’ve had legitimate defective rifles.

I’m the loser? If I’m a loser for anything it’s for feeding the trolls, I really do know better, you’re just extra spicy and I’m super bored waiting for my UF.

lol you are the troll from what it looks like desperate and clearly upset lol you will be ok. lol
I think you missed the part where i said i don't care what losers like you say or do.
i guess you will never know if i ordered one or not, and the fact that you don't know that, who maybe I'm bored too and want to trigger losers like you, lol
man what a clown.

There's only a few things crooked here, and they're broken records too. It all looks intentional, like trolling and rubs people the wrong way. Derailing a thread for soapboxing the same opinion over 60 times isnt helpful to the conversation if you are not actually adding and consuming information.

"Every other post" is apparently posting about their possessions being bent, meanwhile i see like a 20:1 at the most of people even claiming to own one, and most haven't been received. Leading commentary like this is really stupid and doesnt make people believe what you're saying. Maybe people need to read slower but there's a lot of misreading posts and nonsense in here by the same group of accounts and they exclusively dogpile on the same issues with same language with no proof of anything.

We got self-proclaimed professors in here doing math to justify their opinions with zero evidence and have zero idea on total number of imports. If people want to be taken seriously they need to stop this and playing the victim after it is mentioned.

yeah whatever buddy, talk to those that received a bent rifle.
you get a dictionary in the mean time and find out what "opinion" means and what "fact" means.
to me fact is what i see with my own eyes Mr. Explanation.
you tell that guy with a bent rifle it is the Professors opinion it's bent it is not actually bent.
i been on this post since day one keeping track it is not opinion it's fact.
go mind your business if you don't like this lol

If a rifle is off by 1mm in the test TI uses to determine if a rifle will be replaced via the warranty, it is off by .121 of a degree. They will warranty a rifle off by at least 4mm i believe which is still less than half of one degree total, or about 29.02 MOA.

man I remember a time when the firearm community was united and fun...so much unnecessary fluff and BS unrelated to the purpose of this thread...can you imagine for just one second how childish and weak those bantering about irrelevant BS, must look to a wandering Libby? no wondering they're coming after our freedoms, yall look like a bunch of wounded ducks bobbing around in a pond ...why don't we all keep our sticks on the ice and contribute to keeping the thread full of relevant and pertinent information
