All-New: Type 81M

A good friend’s son is totally into the Shooting Sports but doesn’t have anyone to take him out to do all the “guy things”, so I’ve taken him under my wing & have had him to the range a bunch, including shooting a Milsurp Match & today for his birthday he got to shoot the T81M underfolder!!! To say the kid was pumped is an understatement!!!

This is how you spell HAPPY BIRTHDAY to a kid who loves the sport! Let him shoot cool guns!!! Thanks TI we love the rifle!!!

What a nice story! Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for sharing that Jay.
This thread has been........not so fun recently.

I hear ya!

Oh, and the action on my T81 is MUCH smoother after about 50 rounds were fired through it.

And it was 100% reliable, going BANG with every pull of the trigger, extracting, ejecting etc.

I really like this T81 underfolder!

Just got my UF yesterday..seems good..tight top handguard and I drove out pin and a couple of turns to tighten up stock took the wiggle right out
Only thing missing was the flash hider .

Plan to compensate the individuals that have fallen "by the wayside"? Especially the ones you have been telling for 3 weeks that their order has been shipped and that they need to be patient? There are some that ordered on the 12th (Low #27###) still waiting myself included, while others have already received replacement firearms on warranty. I think its possible these people that have fallen "by the wayside" also ordered the hand-guard but also asked for a mild order combination. I am relatively positive that at this point he can is being kicked down the road so that shipping can be saved and the orders combined. I now have learned to never order accessories when buying a firearm, or ask for order combinations any longer when ordering firearms from TI shipments. Just buy the firearm and be done with it. This isnt worth this level of headache.

Is this bent? waited over a 35days not happy, measures out over the 4-5mm using magnet way. and straight edge.., spray paint on wood with dents., stock bends to right good amount. Fixes stock Type 81. Wife like did you get a return???
Arg.. Please send me straight, one.

Question about muzzle devices on the Type 81.

I have a slant compensator and have notice its on abit loose and wiggles back and forth a smidge. Its still being retained and held in place by the spring pin on the end of the barrel. But it will rattle around abit if you shake the rifle. I assume this is normal as I cant see how you could tighten it down snug and use the retention pin system.

Tightening it up snug puts the retention cutouts on the opposite side of the spring pin. I've never used a spring pin retention system for muzzle devices before, I'm use to crush washers.

Just curious on your guy's thoughts, anything to worry about ?

My fixed stock rifle is bent more than 4mm and they only offered me a return/refund because they didn't keep any for replacements. Still in the process of dealing with this and I got the rifle 3 weeks ago.

I recieved a fixed stock rifle that was bent more than 4mm and also the rear sight adjustment is broken.
Henry told me there are no fixed stocked replacements and that I just have to wait until the next shipment(which could be up to a year) and I'm just completely crushed. Why didn't you keep anything back for warranty/replacements?

It was listed in product description, several week potential for delay :)

Hey I'm not sure if my comments are being missed regarding replacements for bent fixed stock rifles(bent over 4mm). It's been made clear there are no fixed stock replacements currently but when will they be available?? Just trying to figure out how long I'll be waiting for.

My LMG is like this with the RPK muzzle break but the slant brake is tight within the three detents.
