Yes, the return took about a month to turn around.
Alternatively I see another local shop got underfolder in so maybe you can refund and pick one in person.

Underfolder. First, the barrel was deviated by 3.5” and they told me the factory tolerance is 4” and it won’t affect anything. Second I almost ran out of adjustments on the front post when trying to zero it in. The third problem which was an actual functional issue was that the dust cover got stuck and won’t come off. I tried everything TI told me to get it unstuck and it didn’t budge.

They won’t refund me and they will only replace it if the issue is not fixable. 🙁 I just want to shoot my gun, summer is slipping away.

they wont let you mail it back if it is under 4mm so it must be the stuck top cover. my undie was sticky too at times, i'd to use a punch and a mallet,lol... but doesnt warrant mailing it back. no issue with the fixed.

I tried getting it off with a brass punch and mallet but it didn’t budge.
 
I reached out to TI with a few issues and they've always addressed it quickly, even sent out spare parts at no cost.
They are probably pretty busy since my order was processing for two weeks, but a quick email solved that and it got pushed through shortly after.

Type 81s aren't made to super tight tolerances but also don't settle if there are real issues with the one you receive.
