All-New: Type 81M

Well mine arrived and the barrel is canted to the right almost 5 degrees YET AGAIN. looks like I'll be sending it back!

New wood is extremely light easily dents feels like firm balsa wood almost

Horrible machining on the bolt looks like a drunk toddler hit it with a 20 grit grinding disc

Barrel was full of rust..

I want a gold plated one.

You’re not gonna believe this…

How are you guys getting so fast? I'm 265xx and I only got the cfp notification last night. Still no shipping notification.

Things that could delay order processing:
-E-transfer was selected as payment and sent later (processing starts once payment is received)
-Shipping address doesn't match one on PAL
-Missing PAL info

Hey TI, I got the email about address not matching PAL. Should I call in or just wait? (updated the PAL to match) #26529

Options: Either call CFP and get your address updated to match shipping address and let us know after it's done, or just respond to email and let us know shipping to your PAL address on file is good.

While not a legal requirement, we do this to prevent guns getting into the wrong hands. Right now anyone with a PAL number and matching dob could just get a gun shipped to them. We still do card for pickup so it doesn't get delivered to doorstep, some are worried about that and put a work address down for example

"Card for Pickup" if not deliverable w/signature is the way to do it. I've had a couple recent Cabela's orders with no Tracking number sent - then come home to find expensive items left on my porch.

Looks like T.I has a lot of stock. Both not sold out yet... maybe they got a couple tractor trailers full of pallets. The more for Canadian gun enthusiasts.

Thanks, fixed it on the RCMP portal and sent an email back. It was a missing unit # so mightve been wonky.

I missed the boat on cheap 223 ammo. With crates of 7.62x39 still available for like $0.28 per round, I can't reload rifle ammo for that cheap (primer, powder, bullet). So I'm totally on the x39 bandwagon. SKS, Type 81, MRA (bolt), Ruger (bolt), Norinco (bolt).... probably need a CZ at some point to go through the 100,000,000 rounds of ammo I have :) (exaggeration!)

This is the way !!!! I have tonnes of x39 and just looking for nice rifles to sling it with. I was sad the T81SR didn't group any better than my SKS :(

Can someone please tell me what to expect from the shipping process? Will the package be discreet to its contents? Will it be delivered to the door or will I need to go to a CP office to pick it up? Thanks.

you will need to go to your local post office to pick up, thats been my experience with all my orders from them in the past. I actually prefer that way to be honest
