That’s what I’m thinking too. I thought maybe they figured out how to put it in the pistol grip or something. Apparently I’m going to have to wear something with pockets if I intent to survive in the wild with it.

must be way less of them.. guessing one could just buy previous type 81 really, the Under folder is the real deal. New and different.

I would've thought that they would've made more fixed then under folders. Maybe you're right though still kinda shocked

This doesn’t mean much because it varies and some people got theirs shipped today but..

My last type 81 purchase, got the RCMP email on Nov 24 and it was shipped on Nov 29.

Imagine the guys working in their warehouse, it must be amazing to see so many T81s. The boss of TI have balls of steel to dare to order such a large quantity without even being sure that it will still be legal the next day, it must be great profits but also a great risk, imagine such a quantity blocked in China when the order is already paid, it must be a permanent stress until receipt and sale.

Are the barrels on the type 81m thicker than the type 81 se? If so, would that increase accuracy?

The barrel profile on these is LMG thickness, way more accurate in my experience than the pencil barrels under the GL sleeve.
