All-New: Type 81M

What accessories you guys ordered for the underfolder?

Mlok handguard, pmags, metal mags, cheek riser for UF stock, QD sling attachments for the handguard, arisaka mlok scout (these are very nice, I have some of the rail mount versions). I am going to get a red dot mount to mount an aimpoint on as well. I am aiming to keep the UF able to fold with all attachments on. Gotta figure out a better safety to use as well

My UF is not stright as well, couple millimeters off to the left. Also there is little play on the stock for both positions, but I was expecting those issues already anyway.

Disappointing, I'm starting to regret ordering i wanted it more like a collector. I know they had some issues in the past but I thought they would have figured it out by now it's only been years. Imagine the company responsible for making firearms for the country's military can't get a barrel straight on a rifle lol man what a joke.

Where/which underfolder cheek riser did you order if you don't mind my asking?

1000s went out and less than a handful posted a concerning issue. I think by the quickness these sold out and the fact there has been almost 300 thousand clicks on this thread alone, I think these are within range no different then Chinese toasters or anything else imported from China. I would be concerned if this thread was filled with 100s of complaints. Of crse it would be nice if TI inspected each rifle but that would take forever and I am already looking at 3-4 weeks for mine. So they are pushed as fast as they can but they get bit in the ass for it. If I have a issue I will deal with TI.

It's extremely unfortunate that you got a bent one.

TBH, the factories don't care, even the PLA has to send military representatives to the factories to monitor the QC, and reject the defective ones. Obviously TI can't just send one of their employees to do that. Sadly this is nothing new.

i wouldn't say they sold thousands maybe about one thousand. numbering started around 26### and is now around 28###. not all of those are under folders those are also other orders people made and want to combine. and of course not every single order had only one rifle.
as for not many i'd say there are a lot. not everyone that bought one is on this post, not everyone on this post bought one. lets say 10% of buyers are on this post and there are a lot of reported issues already. if you extrapolate that a large number of rifles are in poor shape.

In my opinion there are a lot of rifles with random issues, to only look at this forum and make this the deciding factor is unrealistic.
i think there are a lot because of the following. TI is quick to jump on and suggest a m-lock handguard or "combine this order and that order make another order we will help you send email". But they are very quite in assuring that there is a small number of issues and not to worry or post some information on what is acceptable etc. Only they know how many returns they have. And it also looks like the shipping has come to a halt, maybe they are now going through and inspecting them because they got too many issues. see?
just my opinion but i could be wrong.

I get it, I been in that spot and had a rifle in past I was not happy about. I can tell you it was 100% corrected and I am a repeat customer for it. It will work out

You need to cool out brother, it'll come and it'll be fine. You're spamming the thread with your worry looking for some reassurance but you need to wait until yours arrives.

bro we don't all have the attitude of whatever.
my goal is to at least put some pressure on TI to inspect the merchandize. i'm speaking for a lot of people that have the same concern i do, not everyone will be happy with something as long as it makes noise. i think it is the responsibility of TI to send out near perfect merchandise. i didn't see on their site before ordering saying that these have barrel variance, crooked or missing parts, most 99.99% of buyers expect a good inspected product.

they definitely sold thousands… 25### to start, I’m 2900x and there are still more. that’s 3000+ rifles, with UF being the majority. QC from china isn’t gonna be perfect.
