I recently found two full boxes of Eclipse Plastic-Hulled 7 1/2 12 gauge shells. Interesting looking stuff and apparently safe to shoot according to the net (less so in semiautomatic guns). I've never seen or heard of it before; it can't be re-loadable, can it? But does it have any value to collectors? I have a friend who wants to buy a box of it off me, what the hell would I ask for it?

There is no real value in them. I remember them I am going to say in the late 70's a pukey brown in color?? maybe. Eclipse brand shells were all plastic except the primer, and Activ, were all plastic but had a brass or steel ring insert in the base.
The activ hulls people still reload and the hulls would have some value. The eclipse I thought had their own special wad and I would be suprised if there is even data to reload them if one wanted to
I would shoot them and toss the hulls
As far as what they are worth. I think they may have been also boxes of 20 not 25 so I would say maybe 5 bucks a box not much more
Cheers
I still have full bags of activ here somewhere
