All you new 858 owners...post some pics of your new babies...

i Swapped the lower handguard for one of mine , i might make a matching upper handgaurd in the same color or go with something a little more flashy maybe depending of the color i got !
i might change the front sight for a red or green one if i can find one

Currently bone stock out of the box, had a mean gremlin but she is running smooth after a bit of YouTube, spring bending, and a sanded down washer.

That was 5 shots slow and 5 rapid fire at my local 25m indoor rifle range.

Only mods planned are a metal folding stock, upper handguard rail, and an aimpoint H-1, all on order.

And a few extra mags of course :)

First CZ/VZ and I'm loving it.

Only mod was the knurled compensator. It loves hitting the 8" metal spinner at 100 yards.

Ordered a metal folder but it may end up on the VZ to replace the M4 stock. Really digging the factory furniture on the CZ 858.

Great thread!
Mine are staying stock, and one staying unfired. I'll run the CSA hard in the meantime :)

Not a hue fan of how the paracord looks, but I got the stock 3/4" higher for a better cheek weld.
I wanted to improve cheek weld, and perhaps length, without permanently modifying the original folding stock. I cobra stitched paracord around the stock. Then I installed a UTG model 47 butt pad adding 1 inch length. Then I did cobra stitching from the bottom tip of the butt pad to a midway point on the first cobra stitch around the stock. Then on top on the stock cobra stitch I put a piece pipe insulation foam. Finally I covered the insulation foam with black gorilla tape. This is then end result:

It is comfortable and shoots fine like this.
