The main reason I ask this is because of the definitive nature used by Cabela's here in Canada.....I go to the website and it says, "No Longer Available" for all their RL powders.......I mean, if there's a demand, (which there is) why would Cabela's not at least try to place an order with the manufacturer...? No longer available sounds very final to me....Did Alliant stop production, or did they farm it out to someone else, no doubt politics plays a part in all of this....Does anyone have definitive knowledge as to the status of Reloder powders...?

Thanks

Not sure about Cabela's, but Wholesale Sports has tons on order. ATK is filling backorders like everyone else and is in full production, powders included.

Isn't some of the Alliant powders made in Sweden like RE#22 and #15 ? I wouldn't put much stock in anything No Sale Sports spouts.

Does anyone know of a retailer anywhere in Canada with stock on RL-15 and RL-17....? Cabela's Canada has deleted all the Alliant rifle powders from their website.....

I have been told that Alliant powders are extremely popular down here due to the belief whether rightly or wrongly they are a totally American product. Lots of powder, primer and brass shortages everywhere it seems.
you will see IMR products criticized because they may have originated in Canada or Australia.
Me I like a powder that works well and have had to change up some recipes with these shortages; but I'm still shooting.

Just surfing the web this weekend.......I see on the Bass Pro Shops Calgary site, they show RL-15, RL-17, and RL-7 as "in stock" and 30 bucks per pound......Too bad I'm 800 miles away........You boys in Alberta better get it while its hot.....

PS; They also show IMR4350 and IMR4064, etc in stock as well.....
