Before contacting his CO maybe it would be better to contact him one more time and settling this dispute... He says he didnt know it was messed up , yet in his post history he says his CZ58 is messed up... ok...

Lemme jump in here again... I recently bought a Colt 1911 in 9mm from a fellow CGN'er. I was jamming so I took it to my Gunsmith. He informed me that I had a 10mm slide on it! Hmmm. So I go back to the seller who explained he just bought the gun from a shop in ONT. A long story short...both the seller and the shop offered to kicked me some $$$ if I wanted to keep it or FULLY refund my $$$ + shipping if I chose that route.

Now that is the way to do business! Things can and do go wrong in deals BUT it is all about being a man of your word and delivering a solid deal.

+1

It's all about being a man. Typically, if you give a bad service or product initially, and give great service to make up for it, the customer will be even happier than if they got a good product in the first place.

You need to have your claim served on him in person.

That's only correct for the contempt phase of trying to collect on a judgement. The rest of it can be done by mail. Even when you do need someone to be personally served, you can hire a bailiff to do it for about $100. Ask me how I know...

Anyway, if someone does decide to use small claims, Grand and Toy sells a book about the small claims process.
