Almost ready, can't wait for first 3-gun

Limited to five rounds here with a semi. Pump unlimited.

Well yeah... not really... depending on the gun.

It's irrelevant anyway as pumps and semi's shouldn't be competing against each other... Different divisions.

Also... capacity matters little unless you know how to reload fast.
It's often said that when it comes to shotgun it's often not so much a shooting competition, but rather a reloading competition...

I would love to upgrade to a versa max, but with the powers controlling our province and country my hours at work have to greatly affected so I think the 870 will have to suffice for now.

If the Canadian tire could get a versa max in it would be a possibility as I just passed the $800 mark in Canadian tire money.

For the guys that compete at CHAS, how often are you using a shotgun/AR sling?

This is something that I overlooked and am going to need to get.

We don't usually run shotguns with slings, although it has happened in the past. I would suggest getting a sling for your AR. We are using them less and less, especially with the range limitations at the moment, but we try and configure the stages, so that, if you don't have a sling, you can put the rifle down, transition, and pick it back up. Better to have a sling though, for your AR.
