I compete with my 929 so while I was down at the 2018 IRC I had some custom sized Hogue grips made. I did make a mistake with getting finger grooves as I was trying different grips at the Hogue table. Trying a grip without it being on the gun was a mistake, I hold my grip much higher than "normal". I did grind down the grooves but the gap at the bottom under my pinkie was like 1/2". I did have another grip made that works but I do need to remove a little from the bottom gap as I went too small. It's OK as is but I did get a blister when I did a 2 day training course last year. It's a work in progress lol.
