Serial number will be FUWENDY-001.

Well damn close.![]()
I just need to fit the grip, which I don't have. A few cosmetic touches like rounding some corners and what not. Also, the hole for the trigger needs some opening up, nothing serious. Mainly, I just need an AR15 lower parts kit.

I'm still debating whether or now I should keep the trigger guard as is, or modify it to use the Magpul Enhanced Trigger Guard.
I didn't spend all this time and money before checking the legalities.Claven2 said:By the way, do you have to submit it to NWEST/RCMP for final rubber-stamping of the design?
My biggest concern is if you use too much of an AR15 LPK, they might class it as an AR variant despite a different buffering system. In the end, the modified mag catch might be a blessing in that regard
If you have to, you might also want to send it in before you bother anodizing it, etc. after all, if it gets sh!tcanned, you'll save the expense of applying the finish. Also a good idea to submit the plastic receiver with it so that you can prove it's just an aluminum version of the plastic lower which is already approved. Might smooth things a little.![]()
It's even more impressive if you met me in real life and see how much of a prickdavid doyle said:P.S it is impressive how patient you are with some comments.
coolest resume i've ever seen. impressive not only in the craftmanship but also the level of research that you had to do, legal and otherwise.Armedsask said:He was rather impressed with my dedication to finishing the project and told me I just use the reciever as a resume.
The craftsmanship is a little lacking. Due to time issue at school I often ran out of time. Not wanted to have to set back up to finish some cuts, I would often rush things, leading to minor cosmetic screw ups and poor finish. If I would have had a dedicated mill and would be able to leave it setup, it would have looked a hell of alot nicer.markl said:coolest resume i've ever seen. impressive not only in the craftmanship but also the level of research that you had to do, legal and otherwise.
