Aluminum Quad Rail (B&T) vs modified factory handguard for SL8??

I am in the middle of a conversion project on my SL8. Does anyone have an opinion on whether to modify the factory hand guard by adding rails, or buy the aluminum version like that from B&T.

thoughts appreciated.

So you bought the aluminium K version made by B&T and added rails to it?

Did you get it from Wolverine?
