Am I blind or do presses never come on sale ?

I've used a 550 and the manual indexing was not for me. Also used a 650 without a case feeder and most definitely liked the LNL without a case feeder better. Used a 650 with a case feeder but without a bullet feeder and that is what prompted me to get a case feeder for my LNL.
There are things I liked about the 650 but then there are things I like better with the LNL.

Fancy explaining the pros and cons as you see them of each (650 & LNL) to someone trying to pick a winner for themselves?

Nothing fancy about it. I know nothing about the Lee Loadmaster so have nothing to say about it. I do about the ones I listed. There have been many posted telling him the Dillion's do not go on sale.

I sense you missed my sentiment - as someone who hasn't used either the 650 or the LNL (me) and is in the market for one of them I`d like to hear your thoughts on the pros and cons of each so I can make a more informed choice

I loaded 250 rounds of .223 on my 550B last night. I took my time but I'm sure
it took well under an hour. The Dillon powder measure is very repeatable.
metering Varget plus or minus .1 grains consistently. I have a Hornady LNL powder
measure on a stand on my reloading bench as well and it is not near as consistent as the Dillon.

Well that's a choice that's hard to give someone. Many of the Dillon guys will say buy it and everything else is junk. I know many that have Dillon and they will never say otherwise. I personally think they are very good presses. My friend who has a 650 tends to load several thousand 9mm then several thousand 45 acp only. He does not load anything less on it so if that's the kind of reloading you want to do then it may be the one.
He has also had problems with it so the story of never needing adjustments or breaking parts on a Dillon is not so true with his.He loads smaller amounts of different calibers on his 550. I've used both and really didn't like the 550. The 650 my freind bought did not have a case feeder on it and for me was horrible to load on being as you had to use both hands to feed cases and bullets then pull handle. He bought a case feeder for it and now it works much better.
The LNL you feed them with left and pull handle with right that's why I picked the LNL as I couldn't afford to get both a press and a case feeder when I bought it.
I really like the Hornady bushings rather than the tool heads on the Dillon.
The only issues I've had in three years and over 8000 rounds was one of the press bushings didn't seem to tighten properly and the large primer tube wouldn't stay in the housing. Hornady had new parts to me in 5 business days no charge.
I finally had enough money to buy a case feeder awhile ago and it works very well so far.
The LNL has to be tuned abit better than how it comes but those are really very minor and once the pawls are adjusted it is very smooth especially with the half indexing. I will say that my LNL has really no powder spillage on the shell plate compared to my friends 650.
I will put the powder measure against a Dillon any day. Unique is the hardest powder I load and it is always within .1 grain. Can't speak about stick powders but I'm going to find out how well it does as I'm going to start loading 223/556 soon.
If you can the only way you will know for sure is you have to either load on both if you can or do the research and go with Hornady or Dillon and start reloading.

One more thing as well there is a whole lot more going on with the 650 than the LNL as far as mechanical.

Finally Photobucket is working properly. This is right after installing case feeder with 357 cases.
