I'm right handed but left eye dominant so I shoot with my left eye with pistols but with my right eye with rifles.

I'm all messed up, write with my left, throw right, right-handed hockey stick.
I shoot a rifle left handed with my left eye and a pistol with my right hand but still left eye.[/QUOTE]
In one handed pistol competition or in archery this is called crossfire. In NRA/ISSF organized handgun shooting matches this is often discouraged. Because the unnatural strain on the muscles and bones become very tiring after a long match. This also goes against the theory of good body position, for a natural point of aim. I can often shoot pistol crossfire, but only with a two handed grip during informal plinking. But when I decided to take up 50 meter pistol, with my left eye aiming and using only one hand to grip/support the pistol, I found it much more natural for me to convert to a dedicated LH grip.
ymmv
If you shoot a pistol right handed, left eyed you aren't broken, try to avoid tipping your head to line your eye up, instead just move the handgun across to the left a little, watch yourself aiming in the mirror and it'll click. You'll find it far easier on your neck.
You arent broken if that works for ya. My wife is right handed but left eye dominant so she shoots left handed when shooting shotguns and rifles but she cant hold her pistol left handed so she shoots right. Just adjusts a bit to use the left eye
