I do not think that is true...Wolverine will send out some of the Mk18 before selling to the people on the waitlist.
That is why you see people still waiting for the Mk18 from Wolverine and some local gun shops already have them in stock.

You are spot on Andrew3081, unless CanadaAmmo has a USA source other than Wolverine (seems unlikely).. I can see both sides of it - as the distributor they have to get stock out to other companies but it still sucks to see it wasn't to fill pre-orders for CanadaAmmo but just to pop on the website as open stock (at a lower price, with free shipping :)
 
Mk18s are hard to come by at the moment, but there are DD rifles to be had. I just ordered a DDM4V5 that was in stock and ready to ship as opposed to waiting on my order until June for a DDM4v1. Just gotta look around.
