Am I gon' die?

There's no point really. Pulling 50 rounds definetly sucks. I rather shoot them but if it's unsafe then I have no choice.

That couldn't take more than 10 minutes to take apart and another 10 minutes to do right. I recently pulled 300 rounds that I just didn't feel right about and that took about an hour. When in doubt, don't. In my case, it was the right call. I had some seriously under charged rounds and even a couple of uncharged ones.

Load up 5 rounds of 10gr, 10.5gr, 11gr and see how the cases look after firing.

This is probably the next best advice if you absolutely don't want to pull apart and redo your rounds. However, if they turn out to be overcharged, you're just gonna have to take them apart anyways.

Why would you load 50 rounds "and then" ask if it's safe... You have the "cart before the horse."

P.S - I thought this was going to be another "I licked the lead" thread.

I pulled 50 rounds of 45 colt once when I noted a big drift in my measure. I couldn't tell which 5 in the bin were over charged so I pulled them all. I used blue locktite on the grub screw locking the adjustment after that.

Suck it up and pull em

I wouldn't shoot any overloaded round either , ESPECIALLY Titegroup.
I've seen too many 40 cal guns blown up with too much titegroup.

Regardless of the powder charge, I'd expect that Titegroup is too fast a powder for Desert Eagles.
Remember that they are gas operated.
A slower powder like H110/WW296 should make that gas piston operation work much better.

I made a few rounds with 10 grains of Titegroup and the gun cycle but the slide won't lock open on an empty mag. It's a very soft/low flash load compared to 24.5 grains of H110. I already pulled them apart, took me 10 minutes with a RCBS bullet puller die. Sorry guys, I will live another day!

I have done lots of adventurous things. But I certainly would not shoot that load in my gun. Hell, i wouldn't even shoot it in your gun.

I don't think it would blow up the gun, but it would beat it up, and it deserves better.

YES, we all are at some point . I would predict sometime within the next 80 years barring major medical intervention/advancement.

If your under 40 there's a really good chance you'll break 100 (prob by a good bit). Don't underestimate the effect of the exponential growth of knowledge! :D

To the topic, time to pull out the puller and get pounding!

Wise choice I think, as some on here know I generally load to maximum potential for most my firearms, but work these loads up very meticulously. After 40 years behind the press I know what signs I'm reading and where the max is, but to jump 15% in one load IS NOT A SAFE PRACTICE, period..............

For what its worth 15% in a rifle case like a 30-06 with a 60gr charge is a 9 grain increase. That just might be significant. Glad to hear you pulled them. Thanks for posting the question, it's better than explaing why you've only got one eye. Most important it encourages the novice to find out more by seeking advice rather than just praying and pulling the trigger.
