The hook is just in my lip and its not set too well. I think I can still get off the line.
Help.
I'm contemplating a Rem 700 in .300 rem saum.
I woke up this morning knowing I did not need another rifle at the moment and if I did it would be 6mm or smaller. Suddenly I find myself seriously contemplating purchasing this little fat magnum. I would appreciate advice on whether I should buy, based on your experience. Heres some background/thoughts.
1. I have always wanted to own a Remington 700.
2. I have absolutely no idea what I will use this for. I have 308s that do more than I need. I'm telling myself its an investment.
3. I reload, is the brass easy to find?
4. I'm figuring the barrel life is gonna be better than some of the other magnums with their bigger powder usage?
5. I don't ever see 300 saums for sale, is the caliber dying? Not that I care but it might mess up my investment idea.
6. Oh yeah and the morning after a night on the Guiness I flinch shooting 243.
All and any advice would be appreciated.
